5 Super Fast Ways To Create Brilliant Blog Posts

You know that you are advised to create blog posts to boost your business and engage your audience but when you are so busy, it can be really hard to find the time to create the great content you need.

When it comes to creating blog content, there are so many great reasons to build your blog, including:

• Providing content to an email list
• Making offers and placing them in the content
• Retargeting visitors

These are just some of the immediate reasons you need to create blog posts but we know you are busy so we’ll cut to the chase. Here are 5 super-fast ways to create brilliant blog posts.

#1 Embeded Blog Posts

This is a really simple step. Go on to YouTube and find a really high quality video that features someone who is regarded as an authority in your niche or sector. Embed this video into your blog and then beneath the video, write a reaction or analysis of the video.

Here’s an example of a video we embedded on our blog:

#2 Aggregate content

If you feel as though you don’t have the time to create content, this is a great step because you don’t have to create content, all you do is aggregate it from other sources around the World Wide Web.

Find great content that can be linked to a theme and always make sure that you credit the original source, with a link. This is essential, you have to link it back to the source but when you pull in content from so many places, people will appreciate having so much information in one place.

Here’s what Matt Cutts at Google has to say about it…

#3 Interview Blog Posts

This is a great way to create content that is relevant and that people want to read. You may also find that people at a very high level in your industry will be happy to be interviewed. It is so much easier to convince someone to be interviewed than it is to ask them to write something for you so if you are keen to have an authoritative name on your site; this is likely to be the most sensible option.

There are plenty of ways in which you can conduct an interview but you will find that recorded audio over the phone is the simplest. This means that the expert doesn’t have to write anything, they don’t need a webcam, they don’t even need to wear clothes if they don’t want to!!

When you have the full interview, transcribe it and place the interview on site. You can even place the audio on site as well.

#4 Quotes

This is a simple way to create content but it gives you a chance to leverage a number of experts in your field. Decide on the topic for your post and then find quotes that are relevant to your post. Then you should place all of these quotes on the same page.

You can add graphics or post your own thoughts and comments if you desire but there is a lot to be said for letting the quotes do the talking.

#5 Crowdsource Blog Posts

A fast and effective way to create a blog post is to ask a number of experts or relevant people the same question. You should then pull these answers together to create a single article showcasing a number of viewpoints in your industry or area.

A good way to do this is to set up and email template and then send it out to noted experts or relevant people. The following is an example of what you want to send:

“Dear [name]

I’m a big fan of your work and I’d like to introduce my audience to your work and your opinions. This will not take a long time. I am creating an article about [chosen subject] and I’d love to have your opinion on a few questions.

Could you please provide an answer to the following question in 3 to 5 sentences?

[insert question]

I would be extremely honoured if you could take part.

[your name]

You should look to send the email personally and make sure that you flatter the recipient. Be sure to ask them a question that they will have an opinion on. If you have already received responses, be sure to mention the relevant names. You can do this as many times as you like until you get a good number of responses to create a good post from.
